10KV Diagnostic Insulation Resistance Tester / Megger

Electrical equipment like cables, motor, generators, transformers, HV circuit breakers, zinc oxide surge arrestors etc require insulation resistances tests to be conducted. Power industry has made rapid development using high capacity equipment and ordinary insulation testers cannot detect insulation test performance. Testing the insulation of large capacity power equipment needs high charging current. As charging current directly affects the measurement of insulation resistance, large capacitive devices under test need high charging current. Higher the charging current, the closer the test value of absorption ratio is to the true value.
UDEY ‘UDH-100’ provides high charging current of 5mA thus over coming the short coming of ordinary insulation testers where charging current is too small and resulting in incorrect test results.
UDEY ‘UDH-100’ adopts advanced microcontroller systems and samples voltage and current at the same time and then divides the results, so even if voltage changes, the resistance value calculated (by Ohm’s law) is accurate.
It is built in plastic cabinet with cover and is light in weight, easy to carry and very user friendly.
