Introduction:

Udey ASA-603 is used to measure leakage current of Metal Oxide Arrestor (MOA). The main test is resistive current to find out ageing or inside damp of MOA. ASA-603 can be used at site as well as Laboratory test.

Description:

ASA-603 conducts test in two methods:

1. To test resistive current with a reference voltage, normally from secondary of potential transformer (PT). This method is quite common and offers best accuracy.

2. To test resistive current with a reference electrical field. A metal plate is mounted at the base of the MOA of Ø B to induct the electrical field which contains the phase information of the BUS voltage. This method is simple and offers good accuracy.

ASA-603 is easy to operate, accurate readings. The tester works on rechargeable battery, calendar, clock, printer, memory for 100 groups of test data and RS 232 port to transfer stored data to computer.
